An invitation
We would be glad to celebrate with you in Labuan Bajo, the harbour town that opens onto Komodo National Park. Quiet bays, clear water, and a landscape that still feels wild.
Four gentle days together in early September — time to settle, adventure, and celebrate by the sea.

Islands & water

Labuan Bajo sits on the western tip of Flores. From here, boats reach steep islands, pale beaches, and some of the richest reefs in Indonesia.
Manta rays, coral gardens, and clear seas are a short boat ride away. The light is soft and the water is warm.
Small resorts rest against green hills. The setting is private, simple, and close to the water.
The season is gentle: warm days, workable seas, and space on the islands.
2–5 September 2027

Four unhurried days at the resort and on the water. Join us for as much or as little as you like.
A quiet arrival day at the resort. Chill by the water, catch up with family, or simply arrive at your own pace. A discounted room rate is available for those who wish to stay. Open to everyone.
An optional adventure during the day (not for everyone — join only if you wish). In the evening, a reception for all guests.
The ceremony. Share the moment with us, watch the sunset, and then celebrate into the night.
A slow morning and breakfast before journeys home. Entirely optional.
Where we gather

We are arranging a near-full stay at Menjaga Bay, a small property of overwater and hillside suites in a quiet bay. A core group stays at the resort; others may sleep on nearby traditional boats.
Breakfast and transfers from Labuan Bajo are included with rooms. We will collect preferences and hold the rooms ourselves. Guests cover their own room cost.
Room types and rates follow once the venue is confirmed and the headcount is clearer.
Getting there
Fly into Komodo Airport (LBJ). There are direct flights from Singapore and from Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, as well as frequent connections through Bali and Jakarta. Routes from Indonesia are often the simplest.
Singapore and Kuala Lumpur both fly straight to Labuan Bajo, a little over three hours in the air. Schedules are a few times a week, so it is worth locking seats early.
Many passports qualify for visa-free entry or a visa on arrival for stays of up to 30 days. Please check the rule for your nationality before you book.
Light clothes, reef-safe sunscreen, shoes that can get wet, and a layer for the evening. Rain, if it comes, is usually brief.
Arrive at least the day before the boat outing. Three to five nights suits most people.
